Sarah & Henry met abroad in London in 2016. After three years of growing fondness, they moved to Sarah’s home state of Minnesota in early 2019 with plans to get married the next year. As the world changed around them and the pandemic surged, the couple was forced to postpone their wedding until 2021. With the anticipation growing each day, so did the expectations to make their wedding day an event to remember.
Knowing guests were traveling from all over the United States and abroad, Sarah and Henry wanted to make sure guests found the occasion to be well worth their efforts to get there. From the moment guests arrived at the stunning Four Seasons Scottsdale to the end of the reception, thoughtful details were incorporated into the experience. Upon check in, each couple received branded welcome boxes filled with treats from Ruze Cakehouse and essentials for the weekend. Shuttles were provided to the Four Seasons and guests were greeted at the outdoor ceremony space on Ironwood Lawn by a personalized welcome sign designed and crafted by The Details Duo, passed champagne, and live music by The Encore Quartet. Each seat had a monogrammed envelope of fresh petals to toss as the newlyweds recessed.
While guests enjoyed cocktails and tray passed hors d’oeuvres on Ironwood Patio, the vendor team was hard at work flipping the ceremony lawn to a picturesque dinner scene. Prim Rentals set the wood head table down the center of the lawn with cane-backed dining chairs. A mixture of round and rectangle tables covered in neutral pink linen from BBJ La Tavola filled the rest of the lawn. Centerpieces of peach orchids and pink roses arranged by Lux Wedding Florist added a feminine touch to the tables. The gold rimmed chargers and gold flatware from Bright Event Rentals along with personalized menus by idieh design completed the look for an elegant, romantic dinner.
As the night sky descended, a fireworks show by Fireworks Productions of AZ illuminated the desert signaling the party was only beginning. To transition inside to the ballroom, Sarah and Henry made a grand entrance through cheers and sparklers where The JJ’s Band got everyone onto the dance floor. Not only was cake available, but a full ice cream bar with all the toppings one could imagine. The late night crowd was fueled with sliders and pizza to keep them going when Desert House Productions took over the music and upped the energy. The clock turned to morning as Sarah & Henry called it a wrap on their full wedding day.
Sarah & Henry, we will never forget your wedding! Thank you so much for trusting our team to execute your beautiful day.
Thank you Elyse Hall Photography and Something New Media for capturing it all so perfectly!
